Firefighter Adopts Kitten After Rescuing It From Vehicle Engine

A firefighter in Miami couldn’t resist taking his work home with him on Wednesday, October 1, after he helped rescue an adorable stray kitten that was stuck in a vehicle engine.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue posted footage of the tiny cat, and said it had been stuck for hours in the engine compartment of a vehicle near Northwest 17 Avenue and Northwest 80 Street.

“Following the rescue, the cat was adopted by one of the firefighters who responded to the incident,” officials said.
