Cop Helps Young Man With His Tie Ahead of Job Interview

Police work is often about community ties, and that was literally the case for an officer in Texas recently, as he stepped in to help a young man with his neckwear.

Footage published by the Stafford Police Department shows a young man with an open tie asking officers for a helping hand.

“I was just asking if you could tie my tie for me? I was kind of in a rush,” the young man asks.

“The younger officers attempted to assist the male; however, PPO Florian, who has a bit more life experience, was able to assist the young male in not only instructing him how to tie his tie, but also practicing with the individual to help him get it right,” the police department said.

Afterwards, the young man told the officers he was on his way to his first job interview, and that he wanted to make a good impression.
