Sharp-Eyed Firefighter Finds Diamond That Had Fallen From Motorcyclist's Ring

A sharp-eyed California firefighter found a diamond that had fallen out of a motorcyclist’s ring after a traffic incident on Thursday morning, October 16.

Vacaville police said paramedics noticed that the rider’s ring had exposed prongs and that the diamond had gone missing.

Officers and firefighters began searching through nearby dirt and rocks determined to find the missing jewel.

The relief was obvious as one firefighter spotted the missing diamond and returned it to the owner, with the moment being caught on an officer’s body camera.

“A small moment of service that made a big difference,” Vacaville PD said.
