Indigenous people in Brazil are reforesting areas of the Atlantic Forest that have been damaged by centuries of deforestation. The project, which is being coordinated by the Natureza Bela Environmental Group, includes planting 50 hectares (123 acres) of agroforestry system within the Boca da Mata village. This will help to strengthen the Indigenous community and improve connectivity between the Monte Pascoal National and Historical Park and the Pau Brasil National Park.

These Elementary School Students Came Together to Donate Essentials to Those in Need
The students at Lincoln Elementary School spent most of the month collecting dental items for the homeless community in Springfield as part of a school-wide supply drive. Spearheaded by kindergarten teacher Aimee Newton, the drive not only taught the kids about healthy dental hygiene habits but also encouraged friendly competition between classes to collect the most supplies. The students collected over 2,000 items, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss, which will be donated to organizations supporting the homeless community in Springfield.
