Fixing the News: A Message From Goodable's CEO
Hi everyone! My name is Muhammad and I’m the CEO of Goodable. I’m here today to tell you about a new feature we’re launching – and why we think you’ll love it.
Goodable started with a simple thought: Imagine if the news could improve your mental health.
Wild concept, right?
How could something so negative, so depressing, be used to prevent depression instead?
It’s simple – we fix the news.
Studies have shown that exposure to positive news can have tons of mental health benefits. Research shows that it helps our bodies produce hormones such as serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins – all hormones which make us feel happy and relieve stress. It’s like the opposite of doomscrolling.
And it’s not just our mental health that benefits – it’s our physical health, too! A happier heart if a healthier one. In a study led by University College London, researchers found that those who were in a typically upbeat mood had lower levels of cortisol (also known as the “stress hormone”). Lower levels of cortisol means a healthier blood pressure, better immune function, better heart health, and even improved concentration!
At Goodable, we’re using all of this to build the world’s healthiest news experience. That’s why we’re launching Goodable Plus, a curated news experience specifically designed to improve your mental health. This all new addition to the Goodable App includes specialized tools to track your mental health, audio playlists from leading wellness experts, and news tailored to your interests – all with a focus on helping you live a happier and healthier life.
You can sign up for the waitlist by clicking the link below, and share it with your friends, too!

Thank you so much. Let’s make the world more Goodable, together.
With gratitude,
Muhammad Lila
