A merry morning in the suburbs! What a sight to behold: a bear attacking an inflatable reindeer! The battle was epic as these two opponents went paw-to-hoof for our viewing pleasure. It ended with the bear looking on, baffled by its resilient opponent and scurrying off into the woods. Who won? Well, we all did – with appreciation for that one sturdy reindeer who bravely took on a fierce for and survived...and a chuckle of glee shared for everyone who witnessed it.

A Vancouver family grew a massive 1,161-pound pumpkin in their front yard, winning B.C.'s heaviest giant pumpkin contest. The Polay family's 'Orangina' edged out the competition by just two pounds at Krause Berry Farms in Langley. Climbers Rescued After Himalayan Stranding for 3 Days
