Dogs and their heroic handlers from across America are on the road to Nashville. The "Crisis Response Canines" group is providing emotional support in the wake of a school shooting. "The interaction is very calming and very soothing," says dog handler R.A. “Bear” Berman. "Most people really like dogs and when they look at them, they just smile." These brave pups will be there for children and families until Monday, offering smiles and snuggles that can bring warmth during tough times.

This Heroic Passerby Saved a Grandmother From a Burning Home
In West Linn, Oregon, a heroic man named Ronnie Coulam saved a grandmother from a burning home. Kai Brown was the first to spot the fire and called 911, but when he tried to help his grandmother down the stairs, she fell and was unable to get back up. Fortunately, Coulam happened to see the smoke and rushed into the burning home to carry the injured grandmother to safety. Thanks to Coulam's bravery, the grandmother was rescued and made a full recovery!

To show their love and support, Jasper’s father and older brother got tattoos that match one of Jasper’s scars from surgery. The tattoo, which runs along their left shoulder like Jasper’s scar, serves as a reminder of everything Jasper and his family have collectively gone through. By sharing their story, Jasper and his family hope to raise awareness and encourage more funding for osteosarcoma research.
50 Years Later, Lolita the Whale is Finally Going Home to Free Waters
Exciting news for animal lovers! Lolita, one of the oldest killer whales in captivity, will finally be returning to her home waters in the Pacific after more than 50 years. The Miami Seaquarium, where Lolita was being held, has signed an agreement with the non-profit group Friends of Lolita to relocate the orca to an ocean sanctuary in Washington state. The move is set to take place in the next 18 to 24 months with assistance from philanthropist Jim Irsay.
