These Heroic Strangers Saved An Unconscious Driver

Strangers rushed into a busy intersection to rescue an elderly woman who fell unconscious while behind the wheel of a moving car in Florida.

Surveillance video captured the moment when a woman slumped over the steering wheel and crossed into oncoming traffic. Several drivers sprang into action to slow the vehicle and stop it from hitting other cars head-on. The heroes smashed the rear car window and called 911.

Police say the driver was having a medical episode. Working together, the group proceeded to push her car to a local parking lot, where a nurse provided the woman with medical attention until the fire department arrived.Police say they’ve contacted several of the good Samaritans and are planning to bring them together so the elderly woman can thank her rescuers.
