Milwaukee Bus Driver's Heroic Act: Rescuing a Lost Boy at the Bus Stop

Footage released by the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) on August 27 shows the heartwarming moment a bus driver helped a lost boy.

MCTS driver La’trell Y spotted the child standing alone at a Milwaukee bus stop and pulled over to invite him onto the bus.

She then contacted MCTS dispatch, footage shows, telling them, “There’s a little boy standing at the bus stop.”

The Milwaukee Police Department arrived shortly after to reunite the boy with his family.

Commenters praised La’trell’s quick action, with one person writing, “You guys have some of the best, most caring drivers I have ever seen,” and another adding, “Great job, La’trell! Thank you for protecting our children and our most vulnerable!”
